Fenghuangwo (Phoenix Nest) is hidden within the core secluded micro-terroir of Wangong, nestled deep inside the state-owned forest of Dingjiazhai. Surrounded by high-altitude, pristine virgin rainforest ecology where century-old tall-pole ancient tea trees (gaogan gushu) co-exist harmoniously with the wild mountain forest, production here is exceptionally scarce. It is a benchmark tea of Yiwu's supple sweetness and wild spirit (rou tian ye yun), combining sublime drinking texture with long-term collection value.
The dry leaf cords are tightly rolled and uniform, oily dark green with shimmering silver down and plump, vibrant buds and leaves. Single origin without blending or additives, faithfully presenting the pure character and inherent backbone of Fenghuangwo.
An elegant orchid fragrance interweaves with dense floral honey aroma and pure forest wildness (shanye yun), high-toned and exceptionally enduring. The tea liquor pours bright golden, clear, and oily-thick. Delicate sweetness pairs with an untamed mountain backbone—supple and soft on the surface yet concealing substantial inner strength and power.
From Guanzizai's 'Yuewei Chunliao' series (閱微純料系列), harvested directly from the core terroir, produced solely from pure single-mountain ancient tree material to deliver the unadulterated essence of mountain terroir.
