2016 Dayi Mountain Rhyme (Shān Yùn)
This product is crafted from carefully selected large-leaf tea trees from core Puer production areas at an altitude of 1,800 meters. It blends the powerful bitterness (kǔ yàn) of Bulang tea with the honey fragrance of Mengsong, resulting in a robust flavor with a distinct huí gān (returning sweetness) and noticeable shēng jīn (salivation).
The tea liquor has a captivating smoky fragrance intertwined with a honey aroma, and the flavor is rich and mellow. The thick bitterness at the base dissolves away, leaving a deep and lingering finish in the throat. The mouthfeel is as powerful and fierce as an overwhelming flood, with ample chá qì (tea energy) and a flavor essence that is as continuous and melodious as a mountain stream. Its profound and smooth taste and potent, dominant flavor are what truly define the "Rhyme of the Mountain" (Shān Yùn).
