The 2011 "Golden Impression" is a rare example of a Menghai flavor from the Xiaguan Tea Factory, made from carefully selected sun-dried green rough tea (shai qing mao cha) of the Yunnan large-leaf variety that has been aged for 6 years (2005 raw material). It was well-regarded by the market from the beginning of its release.
Having undergone more than 10 years of aging, the tea cake has entered a stable transformation period. The tea soup color is orange-red, with a full-bodied aged aroma. Thetea soup texture is mellow and smooth, without the fresh astringency of new tea, only the aged aroma of time. Obvioushuígān(returning sweetness), with sufficientcha qi(tea energy). A rich and pleasant sweet fragrance remains in the bottom of the cup. After drinking, the throat is exceptionally moist and smooth, very comfortable.
Overall, this is a good tea that has entered its drinking period and has a good level of pleasantness.
